Fall 2020 Class Formats at the University of Arizona
When classes begin at the University of Arizona on August 24, learning has a new look.
This video explains Arizona’s four class formats:
- In-Person: Physically distant on-campus setting
- Flex In-Person: Blend of in-person and online
- Live Online: An online class at a scheduled time
- iCourses: Online courses completed independently
Live Online and iCourse modes of classes are recommended for students at high risk of serious complications from coronavirus. They are also recommended for students who are unwilling or unable to wear a mask to protect their Wildcat friends and colleagues, in accordance with the Administrative Directive on the Use of Face Coverings (https://president.arizona.edu/news/2020/07/administrative-directive-use-face-coverings).
